I am a youth worker and poet with mental health disabilities who enjoys reading tarot and cooking with my roommates. I have studied child and youth care, as well as psychology and critical equity studies. I met Rei when he was a regular at the coffee shop I used to work at, and we became quick friends, connecting over our shared experiences working in mental health and community spaces. @jazztheearthnymph ArtHouseTO: ArtHouseTO is a Place For The Displaced To Manifest Possible Futures. Full Moon by Gail Steckler

In the 1990s I had an amazing opportunity to accompany a seasoned traveller and recorder of ambient nature sound, to Malaysia, a beautiful part of the world, home to Taman Negara, a 130 million years old rainforest and spectacular seacoasts. The ultimate goal was to create a 24 hour cycle jungle soundscape. To 'dry out' after days spent in this hot and humid environment, we would seek out the pristine beaches and marvel in their aesthetic elements. This song holds some of the vivid memories. Gail lyrics Long ago on an island beach Waves lap the ancient shore I lay on the sand In awe of the sky Who could ask for more? Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Ages back in the jungle deep The night was lit from above I lay suspended Amazed by the glow Filled with wondrous love Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are These days I gaze. From my backyard. Nobody around but me. I sit in my chair. Look up at the stars. Lost in reverie Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Where you are… (repeat) Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Whenever there’s a full moon I wonder what it looks like where you are Lyrics Gail Steckler 2015 credits released June 22, 2025 Gail Steckler - Vocals, Lyrics, Melody Andrea Battersby - Backing Vocals, Art Direction, Cover Artwork Mikela Jay - Backing Vocals Geoff Doner - Composition, Instrumentation, Arrangement, Production, Graphic Design
